But He Knows Not That The Dead Are There
The Bible Means What It Says
There are not many more passages of the Bible most people believe the statements are not literal than the heading of this piece. You hardly meet two people, even real Christians, who take this verse of the Bible to mean what it says. Yeah, sadly, we read it but generally believe it can’t possibly be true.

We comfort ourselves it could only be a figure of speech. We advise people not to indulge in fornication or adultery for many reasons. The most obvious of these reasons is the possibility of contracting sexually transmitted diseases. At the low end of our concerns, we, at times, tell them God does not approve of sex between two people who are not legally married.
It never occurs to most people illicit sex attract more than the two people who indulge in it. Proverbs 9 verse 18 says the other beings who come to participate during the course of illicit sex come from among the dead! When we turn and concede the possibility of this verse meaning what it says, we would stop admonishing against fornication and adultery because the culprits could possibly contract HIV aids or syphilis or gonorrhea. To the Bible the consequences of illicit sex are far more dire than the immediate or delayed physical illnesses that could ensue.
To make ourselves clear that the Bible is here talking of illicit sex, let’s get verses 13 to 18 of the Proverbs chapter 9 and verses 5 to 27 of chapter 7 of the same Proverbs:
13 A foolish woman is clamourous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.
14 For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
15 To call passengers who go right on their ways:
16 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
17 Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
18 But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell. Prov 9:13-18 KJV
We read this with:
5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.
6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,
7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,
9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:
10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.
11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:
12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)
13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,
14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.
15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.
17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.
19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:
20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.
21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.
22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;
23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.
24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.
25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.
27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. Prov 7:5-27 KJV
You must note the ignorance of the perpetrators on the ramifications of the actions they were about to engage in. In the first passage we read, “she is simple, and knoweth nothing” in verse 13 and “Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding” in verse 16, and, “a young man void of understanding” in the verse 7 of the second.
Was it possible the knowledge and understanding these men and women supposedly lacked were the probability of unwanted pregnancies or sexually transmitted diseases when they engaged in sex? These, surely, could not be the unknown possible consequences of sex, illicit or not. The obvious consequences, positive or negative, are known. The issue is those consequences that are not obvious. That’s where we must listen to the Bible and the Spirit of the Lord. In addition to the foregoing, we must note that no languages hinting at any dark consequences were ever used for sex between lawfully married couples in the Bible.
We must note the similarity of the closing verses in the two passages. Apparently sex is of utmost interest to Those in heaven and the ones in hell. Strictly speaking, it’s one of those things that cannot be done in secret.
Much more than that, you are trafficking with demons each time you engage in sex with anyone that is not your legal spouse. Let me say this in today’s English: you are NOT okay once you have illicit sex with anyone, even if it does not result into any visible illness to either party: in heaven, and in hell, they don’t have shortage of memory.
“When wisdom enters into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaks froward things;
Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flatters with her words;
Which forsakes the guide of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God.
For her house inclines unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life”. Pro 2:10-19
SEX WITH NON-HUMAN, FALLEN, ANGELIC BEINGS AND MERMAIDS
Starting from Genesis 6:4-5, Numbers 13:33, Deuteronomy 2:11, Deuteronomy 3:11, 2 Samuel 21:16, the Bible has extra-ordinary stories of non-human fallen angels having sex with human females. In most cases this evil was always connected both to fornication and idolatry.
How can you be sure, in your disregard for God’s commandment against fornication and adultery, you have not contaminated yourself with sex with fallen angels or mermaids?

FORGIVENESS, DELIVERANCE, CLEANSING AND HOPE IN CHRIST JESUS
I must not end this short piece without telling you of the Person who has the keys to the gates of hell and cannot only forgive you of all sins but also clean your spirit of every form of contamination of the spirit as a result of illicit sex: the Lord Jesus Christ . He can overrule the just consequences of your sins. If you have fallen into the trap-door of sexual sins, call Him.
You must be cleansed or those guests from hell will one day come for their payment.

I stumbled upon this site. It has been quite enlightening for me. Lately I just stopped having interest in the things of God, simply because of some teachings I have heard.
Thanks
Am so happy for this, may God give you more inspiration to teach us for the sins of the world is too much especially sins of the flesh. God bless.
I want to thank you for this message that came in. This is exactly what we need to hear, especially myself. Please join me in prayers, that I might be free from this bondage to immorality! Thanks!
How will one call on Jesus again if he is already a Christian and he falls into the sin of immorality? what will such a person do?
A few Bible verses are relevant:
“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace”. Rom 6:14
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”. Rom 10:13
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death”.
Rev 12:11
These verses are words of the Lord. Quote them to yourself often.
And move away from the scene or change the channel of the tv or do away with the video, the website or whatever is the source of the temptation. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to cleanse you of all the impurities that come with sexual sins and loosen you from its grip.
Whoever the Son of God shall set free shall be free indeed. John 8:36
