It’s A Curse Not To Know The Truth About God
Not everyone of us appreciates the reason for a site such as this. You should be worried if you are one of such people. If there is no hunger in you, not only to know the truth about God, but to follow it, God may not show you more of Himself. Not understanding the Bible or the reason for, or the contents of this and similar websites, could be a sign your relationship with God is not as fine as you think. The Bible in Jeremiah 17:9 says our hearts deceive us much more than we are often willing to acknowledge. It could be that God sees you as wicked. Ignorance about His truth is usually a sign you are under some sort of satanic deception: it is a sign you have not realized the utter wickedness of your sins and their dire consequences.
Let us examine God’s words on the issue of spiritual knowledge or ignorance.

“…and none of the wicked shall understand.” Daniel 12:10
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them”. 2 Co 4:3-4
“Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and understands it not, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side”. Mat 13:18-19

The foregoing quotes from the Bible are for everyone that comes by this site, indeed everyone that is alive today. Read them again.
God allows blindness of mind to everyone that comes by His word without bestirring himself and reminding himself of the life-and-death nature of God’s words. Do you really understand when you read the Bible? Do you really understand when you read the contents of this website, or, like the vast majority of the people that chance on this website, do you question in your mind what all this fuss is really about? Do you think this effort is really worth anyone’s while or is simply much ado about names and ancient literature?
Please go back and read the verses quoted in this write-up and ten or twenty verses before and after them. God is dealing with a very important truth about His own personality: He will not hold His heart of mercy out for anyone for ever; He will even send blindness of mind to anyone who treats with levity whatever little light about God is shown him. He is God, you are not.

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The Sole, Acceptable Prayer
Mat 13:15 “For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”
In case the real weight of the contents of this site and the Bible is not clear to you, God is watching to see if you will bestir yourself and pray to God until you know He has heard you. There is only one prayer God is expecting from everyone of us today. It is not a prayer about wealth, house, safe-journey, good health, exam success, job, promotion, the economy, spouse, children, parents, friends, country, or, even, peace.
It is a prayer that we may know Him; a prayer that we may understand what is going on around us; a prayer that our darkened minds might receive true light from Him; a prayer that Jesus may know us, forgive us and give us of His Spirit.
