Our Daily Manna: The Poison Of Asps
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”. Mat 7:22-23
Not many stories exemplify the pervasive hold of Satan on Nigerian ‘Christianity’ than the tales of ‘Bishop’ (Dr) Chris E. Kwakpovwe, the publisher of Our Daily Manna ‘christian’ daily devotional and the ‘Presiding Bishop’ of The Manna Prayer Mountain Ministry. This is one ‘Bishop’, like so many of his peers in Nigeria and other parts of the world, in open adultery for at least fourteen years. But this has not stopped him from being ‘the presiding bishop’ in his ‘christian’ ministry and the main publisher of his ‘devotionals’.
[By the way, the asp, (left) is another name for the small, but extremely deadly viper native to Africa, Southern Europe and Asia].

The bible in 1 Cor 6:9-10 states: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God”.
Since his followers have no connection whatsoever with The Inspirer of these words, sadly, these Bible passages have not stopped them from maintaining their loyalty to their ‘Bishop’. Nor have they stopped very many ‘Christian leaders’ from recommending his books and devotionals to families and young people in various secondary schools in Nigeria.
I came into contact with ‘Bishop’ (Dr) Kwakpovwe’s Our Daily Manna when the FCT, Abuja, Chairman of the Fellowship Of Christian Students, FCS, gave me two copies of his January to March 2016 publication for my family’s devotional use. One of the first issues I had with the ‘devotional’ was its open promotion of karma on page 73. A little more check reveals it is more of an occult and a New Age/ New Thought book. I was shocked by the open merchandising of prayers on many pages of the book. ‘Bishop’ Kwakpovwe would ensure ‘you get your prophetic reply of 3 dedicated, special prayer points’ but not before you sowed your SACRIFICIAL RUTH SEED (SRS) into his nominated bank accounts!
The procedures for this are very simple: all you need to do to receive your prophetic reply of 3 dedicated, special prayer points on which you may commence your prayers for your blessings is pay first into his bank account. You then text or e-mail your teller details to him. He promises to quickly rush your prophetic reply of 3 dedicated, special prayer points to you upon his receipt of the confirmation of your payments, no, seeds sown! (Pages 52, 56, 58, 60, 61 Our Daily Manna, January 2016)
And you think The Sovereign of the universe can be part of a scam as blatant as this?
Prophetic Declarations On Demand
The bible declares prophecies as God giving His servants clear, unambiguous notices of His future plans and intentions. Since these prophecies ALWAYS originate from God, no human being ever had any control of their timing or contents. Jeremiah could not dictate when responses to his prayers would come: Daniel could not; neither indeed could Job or David.
But, apparently, this is not so as far as our ‘Bishop’ is concerned. He would rush your prophetic reply of 3 dedicated, special prayer points to you, unfailingly, and promptly, once your sown ‘seed’ is confirmed! In fact the control of ‘Bishop’ (Dr) Kwakpovwe on God is so complete that, right at the cover page of his devotional, the first thing he promised were ‘Daily Prophetic Declarations‘!
And, as to the contents? You can be sure they are always about your increasing material, financial or physical blessings.
Who or what is the source of ‘Bishop’ Kwakpovwe’s prophetic replies? You can be sure it is NOT the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible whose words ‘Bishop’ Kwakpovwe openly tramples under his feet with his secretary, Ms Ejiro, in open sins.
Thy Mouth Shalt Utter The Last Curse!
The Lord Jesus Christ and His Apostles taught:
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust”. Mat 5:43-45
And Paul:
“Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not”. Rom 12:14
“Recompense to no man evil for evil”. Rom 12:17
Our ‘Bishop’, however, believes the Lord and His Disciples were too naïve.
His own teaching is:
“Never allow the words of your enemy to be the last words. Always reverse, reverse and reverse evil prophecies, words, evil decrees or careless words spoken against you jokingly or seriously (emphasis in the original). If a bad word is jokingly said about you, quickly jokingly return it back to sender”! (Page 53, Our Daily Manna, January 18, 2016).
In other words, your curse against your enemies must be the last word!

BULLETS IN YOUR MOUTH
The fire coming out of the mouth of the image on his book, BULLETS IN YOUR MOUTH, is from which passage of the Bible? Where in the Bible, apart from the special occasion of the two witnesses in the book of Revelation at the end of the world, did God promise fire from the mouth of His children to burn up their human enemies? None. ‘Bishop’ Kwakpovwe’s image is not based on any Bible passage: it is purely from Word of Faith occult teachings where a ‘believer’ is supposed to have the power to “say things into existence” including, of course, raining curses on his enemies.
Uncommon Secrets of HEARING GOD’s VOICE
The disdain with which ‘Bishop’ Kwakpovwe holds God can be seen in the attempt of an adulterer teaching people ‘Uncommon Secrets of HEARING GOD’s VOICE’.
This is a businessman, not a ‘man of God’. The problem, according to Revelation 18:13, is, his wares are the souls of men. His concern is the money he makes from Christianity, even though he has never known the Lord Jesus Christ.
Warning
Anyone who is sinning and openly and shamelessly defending it is not a Christian, not even a backslidden one: he is an unbeliever. He has never known the Lord at any one time. If such a person is in a leadership position in the church and is holding tight to it even after being caught in sin, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 7:22-23 are applicable to him.
The provisions of the Bible do not allow us to counsel such people quietly. Paul did not quietly protest the heresies of Hymenaeus and Philetus, 2 Timothy 2:17 or of Phygellus and Hermogenes in 2 Timothy 1:15.
We are to sternly warn and sharply rebuke purveyors of evil and whoever is following them. God cannot be mocked.
One of the objectives of this post is to sound the alarm to the thousands of the readers of ‘Bishop’ (Dr) Chris E. Kwakpovwe’s Our Daily Manna and those who distribute his devotionals and books. You should also be alarmed if your child or ward attends the meetings of the Fellowship of Christian Students, FCS, in any school in the FCT, Abuja. ‘Bishop’ Kwakpovwe is NOT a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible. Whatever ‘prophetic declarations’ anyone receives from him is not from the God of heaven. You are warned. ‘Bishop’ (Dr) Chris E. Kwakpovwe is a soothsayer and a clairvoyant: the rules, limitations and restrictions of the Bible do not apply to him. He is into sorcery.
