IN TRUE, BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY, the witness and the guidance of the Spirit in the heart of a born-again child of God concerning God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, man, sin, redemption and judgment agree perfectly with the written word of God in the Bible. To the true Christian, the promptings of the Spirit in the heart are consistent with the writings in the Bible, the Author of both being the same Person, God’s Holy Spirit. Where the prompting in the heart – and by consequence, the speech from the mouth – does not line up perfectly with the contents of the Bible, another spirit is in operation.
This is what we have in much of the ‘Christian’ world today.
We now have a strange Christianity devoid of the Lord Jesus Christ and the true Spirit of God, in fact extremely hostile to God, based, not on what the Bible says, but on the subjective ‘experiences, dreams, revelations and visions’ of the pastor. In plain language, what calls itself Christianity, in much of the world, particularly Nigeria, has no connection whatsoever with the Christian Bible or the God of the Bible.
The following writing of Jude has never been more apt:
“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ”. Jude 1:4
The fake Christianity of Matthew 7:22-23 is what most people now mistake for the real thing:
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
The sham Christianity of Pentecostalism, Charismaticism, Word of Faith, Dominionism, Roman Catholicism and Prosperity gospel in much of the ‘Christian’ world today emphasizes subjective personal experiences of the pastor, Bishop, ‘Apostle’, Pope, or the Evangelist above what can be found in the Bible. With a counterfeit christ at their beck and call, these pastors have created a fraudulent faith based on occultism and deceit. Its lures are the fake promises of money, health, wealth and material well-being.
Our aim in this site is to point out the stark differences between the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ as found in the Bible and the various demon-inspired teachings prevalent in most of the churches and ministries in the world today. Much of this will be done by checking the actual teachings, sermons, books and videos of the various pastors, churches, fellowships and ministries in line with the words of the Bible.
Our hope and prayer is that each reader will, by going through the materials on this site re-examine his life and beliefs in the light of the Bible and cry to the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness of his sins, salvation and mercy.
Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has both the Father and the Son. – 2 John 1:9
That is the fundamental equation of the Bible. Everyone, without exception, whose beliefs and teachings are outside of the doctrine of Christ is outside of both the Father and the Son.
“If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God or whether I speak of myself” – Jesus Christ, John 7:17.
There is more than enough evidence to prove that Word of Faith and prosperity preachers are not Christians misled into occult ideas: they are unregenerated occult people who think presenting themselves as Christians would help them market their faith more readily to the average man. Like the typical unregenerated people, their main goals in life are financial, physical and material success: God, the Lord Jesus Christ, judgment and heaven are far from their concerns.
The Devil has seen to it they have been much more successful than their wildest imaginations.
If God was good enough to you that He ensured you came by this or similar websites, it is your duty to make sure you do not put off earnestly seeking the mercy of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, until you are sure He has forgiven you of your sins. The danger in doing otherwise or putting off this duty is beyond human comprehension.
God is good enough – and powerful enough – to let you know when He has forgiven you of your sins.
Matthew 24:11 is fulfilled.
We hope we will be faithful servants of the Lord Jesus Christ in drawing every reader to Him that was slain from the foundation of the world: the Almighty God Who came in human flesh, the only Saviour and Hope of humanity.
